A unique service for the remanufacture of cherished British makes including Austin, Austin Healey, Daimler, Ford, Jaguar, MG, Mini, Morris, Rover and Triumph.
Unlike most reconditioned, exchanged, rebuilt, repaired or replacement engines, our remanufactured engines are built to the BS AU 257:2002 standard set by the BSi. We remanufacture a wide range of engine makes, both petrol and diesel, including:
Audi, Citroën, Ford, Renault, Fiat, Iveco, Isuzu, Mazda, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Peugeot, Rover, MG, LDV, Mercedes, Nissan, Seat, Suzuki, Vauxhall, Volkswagen and Volvo, predominantly for light commercial vehicles and cars.
As with all of our remanufactured engines, our British classic and Power Plus engines are fitted with the following new components:
- Pistons/ Rings/Pins
- Gaskets and Seals
They are also supplied with the following:
- A new oil filter
- A new timing belt/chain
- Fitting gaskets
- Fitting instructions and warranty booklet
Power - Plus Range
We can offer increased performance engines for this group of classic British makes. By utilising a combination of over-boring, cylinder head and camshaft modification, dynamic balancing and performance components, we offer a Power-Plus engine range.
We have a range of quality used engines on offer. These are ideal for a vehicle whose residual value does not justify the cost of a new or remanufactured engine. They may also be considered for a new vehicle for which a remanufactured engine is not yet available. All our used engines are UK specific. Imported engines are not supplied unless specifically requested. All our units are visually inspected for damages and engine codes are checked ot ensure the engine is correct for its application.
The engine unit is then stripped of all ancillaries to ensure all our engines are dispatched with a similar dress level as a remanufactured engine before being thoroughly degreased and cleaned. The engine then undergoes a series of tests which can include vacuum compression, endo-scope inspection, oil seal replacement and oil pressure checks. All results are recorded for future reference. The engine unit is supplied or fitted with a new timing belt or timing belt kit and new oil filters. Finally, the engine is prepared for delivery.To prevent the ingress of any foreign objects, all critical inlets and outlets are fitted with blanking plugs. The unit is then securely packed for transportation together with fitting and warranty documentation
